"EgAz: A Strategic Trade Bridge Between Egypt and Azerbaijan

Founded in 2005, EgAz Group emerged from the strong and evolving relationship between Egypt and Azerbaijan. The Group was established to create a dynamic trade platform that leverages the complementary advantages of both nations.

 

EgAz  quickly became a key player in fostering trust and enhancing economic cooperation. A pivotal moment came on December 27, 2007, when the EgAz led the organization of the Joint Egyptian-Azerbaijani Committee in Baku—aimed at exploring new trade and investment opportunities.

By early 2008, results began to show, especially in the pharmaceutical sector. Egyptian pharmaceutical exports grew rapidly, with Baku becoming a hub for distribution across the CIS region.

Since 2009, EgAz  has focused on three core pillars with a unified goal: to establish Baku as a vital commercial center connecting Egypt and Azerbaijan, unlocking broader opportunities in trade, tourism, and cultural exchange.
